🌷 God’s Purpose for My Life - Psalm 138:8 🌷
Have you ever thought about the Lord’s purpose for your life?
Sometimes the future looks foggy and everything feels uncertain. We see hard things in the world and in our own lives, and we can find ourselves wondering, “God, what is your purpose for me?” Maybe we even quietly wonder whether He will fulfil it.
In this reflective episode, we sit with Psalm 138:8, “The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me. Lord, your faithful love endures forever. Do not abandon the work of your hands.” We also look at how Charles Spurgeon breaks this verse down in the CSB Spurgeon Study Bible, and spend time praying and meditating on it together.
🌿 When the future feels foggy and you’re wondering about God’s purpose for your life
🌿 Spurgeon’s three-part look at Psalm 138:8: the believer’s confidence, the ground for it, and the prayer that grows from it
🌿 A guided time of music and reflection to pray through each part of the verse
I pray this encourages you to rest in the confidence and freedom of knowing you are held, secure and loved.

💛 Does God Really Love Me? Pondering 1 John 3:1 💛
When was the last time you sat and pondered Christ's love for you? Was it today, last week, or some foggy time you can’t quite remember?
Maybe you know in your head that God loves you, but a quiet voice asks, “After everything I’ve done, how could He possibly love me?” Or maybe you grew up picturing a big guy in the sky with a stick. Sometimes we need to sit with the truth that Christ loves us until it settles deep into our hearts.
In this reflective episode, we look at 1 John 3:1, “See what great love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God,” and take a couple of quiet minutes to ponder God’s love for you.
🌿 Does God really love me, even after everything I’ve done? A look at 1 John 3:1
🌿 Why knowing God loves you and believing it in your heart can be two different things
🌿 A two-minute guided pause to ponder the love of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
I pray this reminds you how deeply you are loved as one of His daughters, and that you’ll go into your week shining that love to the people around you.

Top 3 Ways to Read Your Bible, Ranked (Pros and Cons)
Do you ever find yourself reading your Bible the same way every day, just because it’s what you’ve always done?
It’s so easy to slip into default mode. And with our phones built to give us quick hits of dopamine, it can be hard to slow down and really sit with Scripture.
In this practical, bite-sized episode, I rank the top three formats for reading your Bible, with honest pros, cons and thoughts. One of them is a lesser-known favourite I only discovered this year, and you’ll have to listen to find out what it is! 😊
🌿 Why the Bible app is a fantastic tool, and how distraction can get in the way
🌿 What a physical Bible offers
🌿 My dark horse pick, and why it might surprise you
There’s no shame and no guilt here. Spending time with God is what matters most. I pray this encourages you to keep going deeper with Jesus.

🌸 Isaiah 43:19: Seeing the New Thing God Is Doing
Have you ever needed some hope and encouragement that something new is happening?
We live in a world so full of pain, anxiety, wars and heartache that it can be really hard to see what God is doing. Some days it feels like everything is burning down around us. But God is still doing new things, and He is still doing beautiful things.
This reflective episode is a gentle space to sit with Isaiah 43:19, pray, and let the Holy Spirit speak. What He says to you will always be worth more than any words from me.
🌿 What new thing might God already be doing in your life right now?
🌿 Where is He breathing new life, and how can you praise Him and nurture it?
🌿 Where would you love Him to do something new, big or small?
I pray this gives you a little strength, joy and encouragement, and that you’ll look for the good, new, wonderful things God is doing.

Reflection: Where Are You Putting Your Identity?
Have you ever put your identity in something other than Jesus? I know I have.
It's so easy to find who we are in what we do: a partner, a daughter, an employee, a business owner, an artist. Descriptors can be fun, but our true identity was never meant to rest anywhere outside of Christ and who He calls us to be.
This Friday reflection follows on from our Mary and Martha episode, and it's a gentle space to sit with Jesus, pray, and ask Him to open your eyes and heart. (No need to have listened first!)
🌿 Where is my worth coming from: God, other people, or what I do?
🌿 Is there anything I need to say no to or stop because I'm doing it to feel valuable?
🌿 What does a godly sense of identity look like? Time to pray and listen for what Jesus wants you to know
I pray this blesses you and draws you closer to Jesus, bit by bit, day by day.

Made, Not Made Useful
Do you ever feel like you need to do more for Jesus? That the next ministry, the next bit of recognition, or the next thing ticked off will finally make you feel more loved and more valuable?
If you've ever secretly found your worth in what you do rather than who you are in Christ, this one is for you. Serving is good, but it's the heart behind it we need to look at.
In this episode, we sit at Jesus' feet with Mary and Martha (Luke 10:38-42) and remember that we were made, not just made useful.
🌿 How good things like ministry and volunteering can quietly become where we find our worth
🌿 What Mary and Martha teach us about the heart behind our works
🌿 Three small steps when you're stretched thin: stop, pray, and find your value in Christ
I pray this blesses you and reminds you that you're loved because He made you, not because of what you do.

Do you ever look back and realise you've forgotten just how good God has been to you?
In today's reflective episode, we're looking back, remembering, and taking time to rejoice and be thankful for all the good things God has done for us—big and small. We're diving into one of my long-term favourites, Psalm 27, specifically verses 13-14: "I am certain I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage. Wait for the Lord."
It's so easy to delight in God's Word one season and forget it the next—I know I do it too. So today, we're pausing to remember His goodness and let our spirits be strengthened by it.
You'll be invited to:🌿 Reflect on Psalm 27:13-14 and what it means to be certain of God's goodness🌿 Look back and remember specific moments—big and small—where God has shown you His kindness🌿 Let your heart take courage and be strengthened by remembering His faithfulness
I pray this reflection blesses and encourages you as much as it has blessed and encouraged me.

Do you ever feel weighed down—by this world, this life, and everything happening around you—and just need a moment to breathe?
In this reflection episode, we're sitting with one of the most beautiful promises in Scripture: Matthew 11:28-30. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest..." This isn't a promise for someone else's hard season—it's for you, right now, wherever you're at.
Join me as we slow down and reflect on what it really means that Jesus describes His own heart as lowly, humble, and kind—and why that changes everything about how we come to Him.
You'll be invited to:🌿 Reflect on the promise of rest in Matthew 11:28-30, and what it means for your life today🌿 Sit with the truth that Jesus's heart toward you is gentle, humble, and kind—not distant or demanding🌿 Remember that Jesus doesn't promise a life free of pain, but He does promise rest for your soul🌿 Take a quiet moment to bring whatever you're carrying to Him—your wisdom, strength, and joy
This is a gentle space to pause, reflect, and remember that no matter what season you're in, your Saviour sees you, loves you, and offers you real rest.

Do you ever feel like you don't have time for God—and even if you did, you're not sure you'd know what to do with it?
I've been away for a little while on maternity leave, soaking up this new, beautiful, exhausting season—and if there's one thing it's taught me, it's this: the "perfect" quiet time with the music, the candle, and the free hour just isn't realistic for most of us, most of the time. And I don't think it ever was.
In this episode, we're talking about what quiet time can actually look like when you're genuinely, honestly out of time—and why five honest minutes can hold more than sixty distracted ones ever could.
You'll discover:🌿 How to build a quiet time in under 5 minutes—no perfect routine required🌿 3 simple tips to optimise the time you do have🌿 Why something is always better than nothing, and small wins count🌿 That God cares more about relationship than volume—showing up matters more than getting it "right"
We also chat about letting go of guilt and shame, ditching the "try harder" mentality, and choosing to show up over striving for perfectionism.
If you've ever felt like you're failing at your faith because your quiet time doesn't look like everyone else's, this episode is for you.
